About

A dive resort at Jilli (Sacheonjin) beach, Sacheon-myeon, Gangneung, run by Jeon Seok-chul and centered on its Naver cafe (dive700, est. 2008); it is an SSI center. Billing itself as 'the mecca of Gangneung wreck diving,' it operates the Gangneung Underwater Park wrecks (the ~2,474-ton 'Stella,' the 800-ton Russian trawler 'EM33,' plus Star Trek, a freezer ship and 'Wreck Village') along with reefs, cliffs and a ~15 m rock cave. All dives are guided on lined, safe points. Programs span intro dives (beach/boat), Open Water, Advanced, Master, SSI instructor course (ITC), XR technical and a kids' Scuba Ranger course, plus underwater video, regulator overhaul service and domestic/overseas dive tours.
