About

A PADI 5 STAR IDC dive resort near Namae Port in Hyeonnam-myeon, Yangyang (Gangwon). Said to be the only resort in Gangwon with a resident PADI Course Director, it offers everything from Discover Scuba and Open Water up to Instructor (IDC) and advanced technical training (trimix, CCR/rebreather, DPV). Two 300hp FRP dive boats (up to 20 pax) with lifts run on standby, serving ~30 boat and shore dive points (from 7-10 m beginner spots to 85 m+ technical points). An ocean-view pension and BBQ area adjoin the resort, and it practices 'green diving' by prohibiting marine harvesting. About 3 minutes from Nam-Yangyang IC for easy access from Seoul/the capital region.

A foreign diver's review (Tripinfo, Jul 2025) reports completing Open Water, Advanced, and Nitrox here; the resort offered PADI eLearning and adjusted the schedule around remote-work hours. The same review notes an international payment system was still being set up, so a Korean payment method (via a friend/relative) may be needed for the first deposit. No dedicated English page or confirmed fluent on-call English support.
