Paaran Scuba Diving (Sokcho)

About

A scuba/freediving operation with an on-site base in Geumho-dong, Sokcho (Gangwon), run by the PADI 5-Star IDC dive center 'Paranbada'. The operator began as a PADI dive center in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, Seoul in 2005, earned PADI 5-Star status in 2008 and IDC (instructor development) center recognition in 2012; lead instructor Song Gyu-jin is a PADI Course Director. At the Sokcho site it runs try-dives, Open Water and Advanced certification courses (1-night/2-day group classes or private lessons), and freediving try-dives/courses; formal courses combine Seoul pool training (Jamsil/Yongin) with East Sea open-water sessions. It also runs regular East Sea (Jangho Port, Gangneung, etc.) dive tours and domestic/overseas dive trips.
