About

A freediving-specialist center in Cheonbu (Bon-Cheonbu, Cheonbu 3-gil), Buk-myeon, Ulleungdo, billing itself as 'Ulleungdo's first and only' freediving center. Founded in 2022 (Naver cafe opened 2022-11-16) and run by owners Jeon Seong-ho (Seoul center) and Ji Seong-hun (Ulleungdo center), with an all-AIDA-certified instructor team. The Ulleungdo center uses its own boat 'Calm in Blue-ho' for boat fun dives and depth training at Elephant Rock, Ttanbawi, Gwaneum twin-caves, Gwaneumdo, Jukdo, Daepunggam, and Ssangjeongcho, plus beach fun dives and try-freediving for tourists. Set amid mountains and sea, it is a one-stop dive-stay with a 12-bed dormitory, outdoor showers, barbecue, and gear rental. In the Seoul metropolitan area it runs adult (16+) and youth (6+) AIDA freediving certification courses at indoor pools (Yongin Deep Station, Siheung Paradive, Seongnam Aqualine).

Instructors hold international agency credentials (AIDA, PADI) and the center also runs domestic/overseas ocean tours, but foreign divers should confirm English availability in advance via the Ulleungdo center (+82-10-9395-0336) or KakaoTalk channel.

Season
Ulleungdo center 2026 season officially opens June 1 (summer-focused). Blackout dates for camps/competition (e.g., 7/9-13, 7/25-26, 8/6-10, 8/29-9/7).
Hours
Calm in Blue boat operates 9-11 AM / 2-4 PM (weather permitting). Dormitory check-in 2 PM / check-out 11 AM.
