About

A PADI 5-Star IDC (instructor development) dive center in Bupyeong, Incheon, established in 1992 and also known by the brand 'SCUBAMALL'. Run by PADI Course Director Kang Jeong-hun (James). It is an urban training center with its own indoor training pool and classroom, doubling as a dive-equipment retailer and dive-travel operator. It offers a wide range of PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving through Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, Divemaster and IDC instructor courses, freediving, and technical (Trimix/CCR) specialties, and organizes overseas/Philippine liveaboard trips (Cebu, Bohol, Sipadan, Bali). It states it has certified ~9,500 divers and ~450 pros (divemasters/instructors) as of 2019. Formerly a PADI National Geographic Dive Center; that agreement ended in 2019 and certifications are now issued as PADI.
