서귀포항에서 보트로 약 5분 거리의 무인도. 제주에서 가장 유명한 다이빙 포인트로 직벽 지형과 연산호 군락, 새끼섬(의탈섬) 한개창의 난파선, 물때에 따른 조류 다이빙으로 알려져 있다. 본섬과 새끼섬(제2문도)으로 이루어져 있다.
